چکیده
Water stress causes alterations in physiological and metabolic processes plants is considered the primary environmental factor affecting management of sports turf grass species. This glasshouse experiment was conducted to investigate effect trinexapac-ethyl (TE) on canopy net photosynthesis (Pn), cell membrane stability (CMS), quality (TQ) water soluble carbohydrate (WSC) accumulation responses cultivars [Cv] (100% fescue, Rootzone Arena sports) subjected stress. Commercially obtained sods were treated with 2 L/ ha TE then exposed 7 days after The treatments were: (i) untreated, (ii) TE-treated, (iii) untreated; (iv) TE-treated a randomized complete block design four replicates. Results showed that specifically Cv. Rootzone, Pn 50% higher for well compared other during second third week study. Similarly, at 14 application, resulted 35% reduction leakages respectively stressed this statistically significant (P=0.05) different from untreated plants. On scale 1-9, all types recorded TQ rating ?8 start experiment. By fourth study, it observed had mean (5.75) ratings lower than minimum acceptable (6). WSC content well-watered TE-untreated maintained below 60 mg/g DW throughout study regardless type. After 28 day duration, contents 41%, 43% 100% fescue sports, , Summer preconditioning can be possible tool alleviating detrimental impacts sport species.

Physiological and biochemical responses of Quercus brantii seedlings to water deficit stress
Water shortage is one of the most important environmental stresses in Mediterranean regions. Poor seedling quality may account for the failure of oak regeneration. To determine the best seed origin of Quercus brantii, we investigated on seedlings collected from 20 mother trees in the Zagros Mountain forests 700 to 2200 m altitudes above sea level. Seedlings from different altitudes were irrig...
متن کاملPhysiological and morphological responses of rice (Oryza sativa L.) to varying water stress management strategies
Sustainability of rice production under limited water conditions is threatened by increasing irrigation water scarcity. Therefore, physiological and morphological responses of rice to varying water stress management strategies should be determined. The physiological and morphological responses of a semi dwarf rice (Hashemi cultivar) to water stress intensities (mild and severe, i.e., short-dura...
متن کاملEvaluation of Physiological Responses of Tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa L.) to Water Deficit Stress
Water stress is one of the main factors of severe damage and limitation of plant production in Iran. The paper reports a pot experiment conducted by using a factorial experiment based on a completely randomized design with three replications (each replication composed of four pots) to compare the physiological and biochemical characteristics of two varieties of tuberose (double- and single-flow...

To investigate the physiological responses of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L., Alstar hybrid) to water stress under different levels of zinc fertilizer, an experiment was conducted at the Isfahan Agricultural Research Center, Isfahan, Iran, during 2008 and 2009 using a randomized complete block design within a split plot layout with three replications. Five irrigation treatments used in thi...
